EAnthology was first spotted on June 13, 2006. Research shows that eanthology is spyware. Yes (in fact, eAcceleration was sued in January 2004 in California for this advertising). It pops up ads and, more seriously, creates legitimate-looking error messages saying "Virus Detected!" and other similar statements which lead to advertisers. The load that EAnthology places on older computers can cause instability. The EAnthology software is very calculation-intensive, and will slow down older computers significantly. EAnthology is distributed primarily with the many "free" tools listed at eAcceleration.com.Owner - Acceleration Software International Corporation. EAnthology uses 17,503,232 bytes.
